"These defendants allegedly continued to sell narcotics after Mr. McCormick’s death with full knowledge of the risks their products posed to human life," Hanna said. 
 
Cameron James Pettit, 28, Stephen Andrew Walter, 46, and Ryan Michael Reavis, 36, had each already been arrested separately on drug charges over the past month and are being held in federal custody. 
 
The indictment, handed down by a U.S. District Court grand jury in Los Angeles, accused them of conspiring to distribute the fentanyl-laced pills. Walter is also charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition. 
 
Walter's lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment. It was unclear who was representing the other two defendants.

According to the witnesses, the Sinaloa cartel, of which Guzman was a co-leader, flooded the United States with cocaine with the blessing of countless police, military officers and Mexican officials - going all the way up to the President - who turned their heads in exchange for bribes worth millions.

On February 12, a jury had found Guzman guilty of crimes spanning a quarter century.

Torture and killings

Isaias Valdez Rios, described as a hired killer for El Chapo, testified that he saw the drug kingpin torture and execute three rival traffickers, burying one of them alive. The two others had bones broken before being killed. Their bodies were then burned.

'Chupeta'

With his face disfigured by repeated rounds of plastic surgery to conceal his identity, Juan Carlos "Chupeta" Ramirez, a former boss of a Colombian drug cartel, testified that with help from Guzman, he smuggled more than 400 tons of cocaine to the US from 1989 until his own arrest in 2007.

Ramirez, who said he had ordered the death of some 150 people and was one of Guzman's main cocaine suppliers, said he did business with the latter - paying him with drugs - because he managed to get the merchandise to the US "very quickly."

&nbsp;A steep price markup

El Chapo's accountant, Jesus Zambada, told the jury how El Chapo purchased Colombian cocaine for $3,000 a kilo and then sold it in New York for $35,000 a kilo.

All the drugs, an average of 80 to 100 tons a year, were sent to the United States, he said.

Compromising recordings

With the help of Christian Rodriguez, a Colombian who was El Chapo's communications chief, US government agents intercepted some 200 conversations between the cartel boss and his associates, hired killers, and corrupt Mexican officials.

Investigators also intercepted encrypted messages between El Chapo and others, sent on Blackberries that the trafficker used to spy on his associates and his mistresses.

In one message read to the jury, El Chapo speaks with associate and a former mistress known as "la Fiera" about setting up dummy corporations in Germany and Ecuador in order to export drugs "to Europe, to Canada, to Australia and to the United States." They also discuss the purchase in Belize of 700 kilograms (1,540 pounds) of cocaine.&nbsp;

Airplanes full of dollars

El Chapo's former pilot and business manager, Miguel Angel "Gordo" Martinez, testified that the cartel boss would sometimes receive as many as three cash-filled airplanes from the United States in a single day. Each plane carried "eight to 10 million dollars," he said.

He also told how El Chapo worked with Colombian suppliers to finance deliveries of up to 14 tons of cocaine -- transported by boat to international waters off Mexico, where Colombian crews would hand over the drugs to El Chapo's employees.

Martinez estimated that from 1990 to 1993, El Chapo thus imported 25 to 30 tons of cocaine into Mexico each year.

Due to this addiction, deputy mayor of the city has sought a ban on the game following which Chief Secretary of the state has asked Home Department to examine and take appropriate action.&nbsp;

The game was also blamed for the poor performance of students in recently held 12th and 10th grande exams. But these young kids don't want the game to be banned.&nbsp;

"During the day, we play the game for 4 to 5 hours, when we are free. At night we play till 11 to 12. We really like this game, but our parents ask us not to play PUBG. But we really like this game," says Muheeb.&nbsp;

The addiction has got doctors in the state worried too. They have already received some cases where parents have taken their wards for medical consultation. Mobile version of the game has already become popular across the globe with some countries mulling to ban the game.&nbsp;

Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights has already issued an advisory against the game.&nbsp;

Doctors are now comparing the addiction to PUBG with drugs as players have developed behavioural, sleep and psychiatric disturbances.

"Its to give a gram of cocaine to youth. It has more addictive potential than drug abuse. I see a detoxification centre for drugs but we don't have anything for such addictions," says Doctor Nisar-ul-Hassan.

The US government on Thursday will allow&nbsp;more research into marijuana but has rejected requests to loosen the&nbsp;classification of the substance as a dangerous drug with no medical&nbsp;use, sources with direct knowledge of the matter said. 
 
The decision, to be announced by the Drug Enforcement&nbsp;Administration, is an answer to a 2011 petition filed by two former&nbsp;state governors who asked federal agencies to re-classify marijuana&nbsp;as a drug with accepted medical uses, said two people who asked not&nbsp;to be identified. 
 
The Drug Enforcement Administration declined to comment and the&nbsp;Food and Drug Administration did not immediately respond. But the&nbsp;DEA in an e-mail sent by its public affairs division to stakeholders&nbsp;on Wednesday said the agency would be making &quot;important&nbsp;announcements regarding marijuana related topics&quot; on Thursday.
