Results show that 84 per cent of respondents intend to support the Democratic presidential candidate in the upcoming election, while only eight per cent said they plan to vote for her Republican rival, and another eight per cent remain undecided.

When asked about the issues most important to them, voters placed “democracy, voting rights, and elections” at the top of their list. This was followed by the economy and abortion rights.&nbsp;

Two-thirds of Black voters, or 66 per cent, said they were excited about participating in the election, including 35 per cent, who are undecided about their choice of candidate.

Regarding opinions on the candidates, 61 per cent of respondents had a "very favourable" view of Harris, while 14 per cent viewed her "very unfavourably." On the other hand, Trump was seen "very favourably" by just 10 per cent, with 74 per cent holding a "very unfavourable" opinion of him.

The VP also continues to hold a lead over the former president among Black women, leading by 81 points. Among Black men, the gap is narrow, with Harris ahead by 59 points. 10 per cent of both men and women have yet to decide.

With the Hispanic voters in mind, Trump’s host in Las Vegas and the multimillionaire president of Goya Foods, Bob Unanue recently coined a new term for the US vice president: “que mala” Harris. In Spanish, ‘que mala’ means “so bad.”

“Under Kamala — que mala … I don’t say that to get a buzz or as an insult, it’s reality. She is bad for this country, she is bad for Latinos,” said Unanue.

Pew Research Center in early July found that support for both Trump and President Joe Biden, before he dropped out, among the Hispanic community stood at 36 per cent each, whereas 24 per cent backed Robert F Kennedy Jr.
