<p>Pavitra Shetty, who stole hearts with her charming performances, mentioned Rahul Subramanian as one of her favourites. She said, "Because of Rahul, my whole opinion on anecdotal changed. I am someone who needs at least a 15-minute set to do justice to my story, so I was unsure if I would be able to prepare a set in 3 minutes. But I did! And I feel like my best joke of the season came out in Anecdotal."&nbsp;</p>

<p>She also shared how Anu Menon mentored them for the sketch around, saying, "Anu Menon was so engaging in her mentoring. She invested so much of her time in us but at the same time it felt like such an effortless learning. She wrote us very cute letters before our episode and just reading those thoughtful words meant so much."&nbsp;</p>

<p>AIB fame Rohan Joshi, who is also tagged as a roastmaster, made his first stint on Comicstaan as a mentor for the newly introduced roast round. "Rohan Joshi is an encyclopaedia of knowledge. He knows so much about everything that his round of mentoring was just an experience of non-stop learning" remarked Aman Jotwani, one of the finalists of the season "Rohan had invited all of us for lunch at his home. It was such a sweet thing to do, especially right before we were supposed to perform the roast round." Ashish mentioned.</p>

Adding to that, another contestant, Shamik Chakraborty, said, "After a couple of rounds when I was receiving harsh feedback from Kenny, he came to me personally to tell me that I shouldn't feel too bad about it, instead just try to incorporate them in my performance."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Gurleen Pannu, the first runner-up, commented on the Improv round, "Improv got me back to my theatre days. We all had to work so closely together that it was more of a bonding experience than anything else. Adar Malik’s methods as a mentor for the improv round were so vigorous that it helped a lot in preparing us for the round."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Popular stand-up comedy series 'Comicstaan Season 3' has been making ripples ever since it dropped on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video last&nbsp;Friday. The show has received applause for its new format, judges’ honest and critical feedback and of course, the uber talented contestants. The top eight contestants have won not only the judges’ and mentors’ hearts but have also wowed the audiences. After a long tough battle, Aashish Solanki and Gurleen Pannu emeged as the winner and first runner-up respectively.</p>

<p>With an average of 9.1, Aashish Solanki was announced as the winner of the third season of 'Comicstaan'. A Delhi-based comedy enthusiast, Aashish took to his social media to share his journey on the show. In a heartfelt post, Ashish dedicated the coveted trophy of 'Comicstaan' to his father, who has been a constant supporter of his ‘hatke’ career. Ashish, who has been performing at comedy clubs for the last five years, will be soon touring multiple cities for his first-ever stand-up tour.</p>

<p>In a recent interaction with WION,&nbsp;Sumukhi Suresh and&nbsp;Neeti Palta talked about the new season, comedy boom and previous seasons' post-release reaction.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Talking about the new series, Sumukhi said, "I am super excited since it's coming back after a while. After the pandemic, it will be great for the audience to have a light moment. This time, we have a new format, 4 judges, 7 exciting mentors and a lot more in store."</p>

<p>Sharing her views on the series, Neeti Palta said, "This season, the contestants are so fresh and equally balanced that it's a very exciting contest right till the end."</p>

<p>Recalling the response previous seasons got,&nbsp;Sumukhi said, "In our previous seasons, Prashasti Singh was a contestant and now she is a mentor this season and that shows a good success graph. And, I have noticed this in previous seasons that the audience didn't just appreciate the winner but everyone had their favourites. Like you will remember Rahul Dua, you will remember Prashasti and others. So, all in all, it was a great experience for everyone and not just the winner." Neeti added, "And, seeing the number of entries we got this season just shows how well-received the show was. And, there is no dearth of talent so it's amazing."</p>

And, I think, the more the competition the better the industry grows, and simultaneously more opportunities will crop up.
