El Salvador authorities seized a massive 6.6-tonne cocaine shipment in the Pacific Ocean, intercepted aboard the 54-meter vessel FMS EAGLE. The National Navy’s operation, valued at around $165 million, led to the arrest of 10 people who now face prosecution for international drug trafficking. The confiscated drugs were displayed near La Union Naval Base, highlighting El Salvador’s ongoing efforts to combat narcotics smuggling.
