<p>NLC India Limited has not given any comment on this tragedy, so far. The top officials were&nbsp;enroute the plant. Tamil Nadu police and fire department have already taken control of&nbsp;the site of the explosion.</p>

<p>Officials have started a detailed investigation about the boiler explosion.</p>

<p>This comes after two gas leaks, one in Vizag and one in Chhattisgarh, which took place on Thursday and has left hundreds hospitalised and more than 10 people have lost their lives.</p>

<p>At least six workers lost their lives while five were critically injured in a boiler explosion at the distillery unit of the Nirani sugar factory in Kulalli village of Mudhol in Bagalkot district on Sunday afternoon.</p>

<p>About 10 people were working in the sugar factory when the blast took place, according to a report. The intensity of the blast was so strong that the three-floor building housing the sugar factory caved in, killing six on the spot.&nbsp;</p>
