The much-talked-about Asia Cup 2020 will go ahead as per the schedule later in the year in either Sri Lanka or the UAE, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO Wasim Khan said on Wednesday.

The Executive Board of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Monday deferred a decision on the fate of Asia Cup T20 2020 after meeting via video-conference. Speculations are rife that the Asia Cup 2020 might be postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic but in the meeting, the ACC emphasized on the importance of conducting the Asia Cup, scheduled to be hosted by Pakistan in the month of September.
