In a blog post on Monday (Oct 21), the tech giant said the Copilot Assistants will be available for public preview next month on Copilot Studio.&nbsp;

Copilot users can create and manage agents through&nbsp;Copilot Studio, part of Microsoft Dynamics 365 productivity applications. 
 
It&nbsp;is like a Play Store of AI bots. 
 
Ten such virtual assistants will be launched in the first phase, the blog post said.

The Copilot bots can do simple inquiries as well as complex operations in sales, service, finance, and supply chain management.

Some of these pre-built bots have already been adopted by big companies like McKinsey.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said that AI agents can enhance productivity and reduce monotonous tasks.

“These tools are fundamentally changing outsourcing, increasing value and reducing waste,” he said.

The Copilot Studio will allow users, including those without coding skills, to build agents using Microsoft’s AI models, some of which are developed by OpenAI, which made ChatGPT.

Nadella called this a 'no-code way for you to be able to build agents'.&nbsp;

Charles Lamanna, a corporate vice president at Microsoft, was dismissive when asked about the impact the Copilots can have on employment.

AI chatbots have been raking in all the attention over their natural and almost humane responses to users’ intriguing, or sometimes bizarre, questions. But the one that has gained the most prominence is the recent interview conducted of UK PM Rishi Sunak and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

The interaction was shared on 10 Downing Street's official YouTube channel which covered various trending topics like technology, the global economy, and the future.

Bill Gates, who also shared his experience in a Linkedin post, said that he and the UK PM “had a great conversation about the future”, adding, "Spoiler alert: it's bright".

The first question posed by the bot was about the impact of technology on the global economy and job market over the next 10 years.

Gates responded by saying that "we need to be more efficient because there is a labour shortage in healthcare and education. Hopefully, technology like AI can help us be more efficient."

In another question, the AI-powered bot asked them what advice would they give to their younger selves at the start of their careers if they could go back in time.

Gates spoke about what business mogul Warren Buffet told him. “In the end, it is all about what your friends think about you.”

Whereas Sunak replied that someone once pointed out that it is ‘nice to be important but it is more important to be nice’.

He added that this advice stayed with him adding, “it does not mean that you cannot be tough or can't take tough decisions. It just means treating people with decency”.

Next, the bot asked both, "What's the one job you wish AI could do for you?"

To this, Gates replied he might use the system to make his notes a little more "clever". While Sunak said, "I think if AI could do Prime Minister's question time for me.. That would be great".

The OpenAI-made, ChatGPT is so sophisticated and easy to use that teachers and experts are concerned that it will promote cheating as pupils will try to use the bot to write their essays. The tech billionaire OpenAI founder, Elon Musk apparently celebrated this and said it meant "goodbye homework".

ChatGPT has already written film scripts and business plans, it might now also act as cupid and help people fall in love.&nbsp;

Raithatha said, "We have invested heavily in embedding AI into our platform, using machine learning to generate recommendations and personalised promotions. Recent developments . . . open exciting new possibilities, and we are experimenting with how these could be used to help our customers write inspirational messages and create their own card designs in the future."

Moonpig holds a vast amount of data about its customers, based on the choice of greetings card and where it is sent, including information about people’s interests, age, gender and location.

The company’s data scientists are exploring how to use this to make their cards "more special than something you’d find in a petrol station".
