South Korea is using the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics to show off its robotics skills and technology
Winter Olympics is already underway, PyeongChang, South Korea is hosting the 23rd Olympic Winter Games.
It is a major international multi-sport event andathletes have come from all over the world to participate in the winter games.
Many athleteshave already claimed their medals but now someunexpected participants have arrived toincrease the competition.
South Korea is using the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics to show off its prowess in robotics technology.
The robots are taking part in various games like skiing etc,and also provide assistance to the visitors. The ministry said 11 kinds ofrobotsare being used.
South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said 85robotswould be distributed across venues providing information about sports schedules and transport, cleaning as well as improving the appearance of the Games.
