The IPL 2026 auctions saw all 10 franchises splash the cash as more than 77 players went under the hammer and will feature in the latest edition, which starts in March 2026. Some of the big names that went under the hammer included Australia’s Cameron Green (Rs 25 crore), while the likes of Matheesha Pathirana and unknown quantities like Prashant Veer also attracted interest in the auction. In total, all 77 players were sold at an aggregate price of Rs 215.45 crore, making it one of the most expensive mini auctions.
