MAMI 2019: Deepika Padukone, Taapsee Pannu, Karan Johar dazzle at the opening ceremony
MAMI is one of the most popular Indian film festivals that showcases the best of Indian and world cinema. The festival's 2019 edition saw a grand opening on Thursday night in Mumbai and cine artists from various parts of the world coming together. Some of Bollywood's prominent faces graced the red carpet.
Deepika Padukone made a stunning entry at the red carpet of 21st Mumbai Film Festival. Padukone has been inducted as the chairperson of the festival after Kiran Rao stepped down last year. Padukone was seen in a peach-coloured Giambattista Valli gown. She tied her hair in a loose bun and completed the look with gold earrings.
'Saand ki Aankh' actress rocked the red carpet in an all-black outfit with red gladiator shoes and shiny golden earrings, Taapsee Pannu is one of the jury members of MAMI film festival.
Karan Johar and Kiran Rao
Karan Johar is always known for his sartorial style and on Thursday the 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' director was seen in a black shirt and trousers and a floral printed jacket.
Ex- chairperson of MAMI Kiran Rao was seen in a shimmery top and black pants with black boots.

Mom-to-be Kalki Koechlin looked beautiful in a green midi dress by AND and pink Melissa sliders.
