MAMI 2019: Deepika Padukone, Taapsee Pannu, Karan Johar dazzle at the opening ceremony

Deepika Padukone made a stunning entry at the red carpet of 21st Mumbai Film Festival. Padukone has been inducted as the chairperson of the festival after Kiran Rao stepped down last year. Padukone was seen in a peach-coloured Giambattista Valli gown. She tied her hair in a loose bun and completed the look with gold earrings.

'Saand ki Aankh' actress rocked the red carpet in an all-black outfit with red gladiator shoes and shiny golden earrings, Taapsee Pannu is one of the jury members of MAMI film festival. 

Karan Johar is always known for his sartorial style and on Thursday the 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' director was seen in a black shirt and trousers and a floral printed jacket. 

Ex- chairperson of MAMI Kiran Rao was seen in a shimmery top and black pants with black boots.

Mom-to-be Kalki Koechlin looked beautiful in a green midi dress by AND and pink Melissa sliders.

Genelia D'Souza sported her gorgeous smile and stole the spotlight at MAMI red carpet in a cream-coloured saree with an embellished blouse. 

Miss Diva Urvashi Rautela looked glamorous in her psychedelic short dress and shiny high heels.

'Mirzya' actress Saiyami Kher stepped out in traditional attire and looked gorgeous in a red kurta. 

'Padmavat' fame Jim Sarbh was seen posing on the red carpet with actress Radhika Madan. Jim looked cool in a printed tee and a loose pants, while Miss Madan chose a chic blue pantsuit dress for the occasion. 

Heart-throb musician Armaan Malik known soulful music and charm kept his look understated and opted for a simple jacket and blue trousers look. 

'Gully boy' actor Vijay Verma looked dashing in his ankle-length pants and wore a tie and black jacket. 

'Super 30' star Mrunal Thakur carried a smokey look with a black short grey dress with black pumps at MAMI red carpet.

'Sacred Games' fame Kubbra Sait posed in a beige pant suit on the MAMI red carpet.

Actresses Konkana Sen Sharma and Tilottama Shome walked in together for the event and posed on the red carpet. While Konkana looked stunning in a Zara black suit, Tillotama wore an electric blue dress for the event.
