America protests against Trump's policies: Action from Detroit
On January 29, 2017, President Trump signed an executive order banning refugees and freezing visas for people from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. This controversial order invited protests from all over the US.
Demonstrators spilled onto the road as they marched with signs reading a variety of messages including "no ban", "we love our Muslim neighbours", and "impeach". In photo: Protestors on the road in Detroit. Picture credits: Sharmadip Basu
