BJP is all set to form its government in both the states as they won with a full majority in both Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
Minister of health and family welfare, JP Nadda said that finance minister Arun Jaitley and party secretary Saroj Pandey will go to Gujarat to discuss the leadership in the state.
Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman and rural development minister Narendra Tomar will be going to Himachal Pradesh to discuss the leadership in Himachal Pradesh.

However, Prem Kumar Dhumal BJP's chief minister candidate lost in its constituency Sujanpur in Himachal Pradesh, which means BJP would have to choose another leader for the post.

Dhumal lost against Congress' Rajinder Rana in Sujanpur, after he changed his traditional constituency of Hamirpur.
Congress leader and six-time chief minister Virbhadra Singh won from Arki.
In Gujarat, incumbent chief minister Vijay Rupani won from Rajkot.
Currently, BJP has won 41 seats with a lead in 3 seats, while Congress has won 19 seats with lead in 2 seats.
