Indian Navy to thank COVID-19 warriors by illuminating naval ships

The Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard will be thanking the COVID-19 warriors on Sunday for their readiness to help and all their efforts during these tough times.

This activity will take place in Mumbai and Kerala. Western Naval Command will illuminate five naval ships from 7:30pm to 11:59pm on Gateway of India. The same activity will be carried out in Kerala.

The ships will also have banners with 'India salutes corona warriors' written on them.

Indian Coast Guards were seen rehearsing on the coasts on Saturday evening.

The activity is being conducted along with Indian Air Force's act of showering flower petals on selected hospitals and War Memorial in Delhi, as an act of gratitude for COVID-19 workers.
