The statement followed the incident where theRajput Karni Sena vandalised a school in Madhya Pradesh on Monday.
Saint Paul's Convent School in Madhya Pradesh was vandalised by the Karni Sena as students performed to a song from Bhansali's magnum opus.
Members of Karni Sena allegedly destroyed school's property; a student was also reported injured during the mishap.
Deepika Padukone starrerPadmaavathas been banned in four states -- Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana.

Makers of the movie have moved the Supreme Court against the ban; according to reports, the apex court has agreed to hear the plea.
Padmaavat has been scheduled to release on January 26th and is set to clash with Akshay Kumar's PadMan.
The movie features Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.
