Makers of epic film "Padmaavat" have now moved to Supreme Court against the film ban in four states of India namely Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

As reported by PTI, the apex court has agreed to hear the plea of producers of the film.

"Padmaavat", which was earlier named as Padmavati, is scheduled to hit theatres on January 25 after it was cleared by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in December.

The board had asked for several modifications, including a change in the title.
