Suriya's Kanguva will hit the theatres in November on this date

Actor Suriya has announced a new release date for his highly-anticipated film Kanguva. The movie was earlier set to release on October 10. However, the makers chose to postpone the release date due to Rajinikanth's film Vettaiyan, which was set to release on the same date.

On Thursday (Sept 19), the makers announced that the movie will nowhit the theatres on November 15.Sharing a motion poster featuring Suriya and Bobby Deol, they wrote in the caption, ''The Battle of Pride and Glory, for the World to Witness ⚔‍🔥#Kanguva’s mighty reign storms screens from 14-11-24 🤎.''

In the montage poster, Suriya and Bobby are looking fierce in the intense look.

Directed by Siva, Kanguva is one of the most-awaited movies that audiences are looking forward to watching. It has been said that the film is one of the most expensive movies of the year, with a budget of over Rs 350 crore (Rs 3.5 billion).

In the movie, Suriya will be reportedly playing a double role. There is no confirmation on this. but, as per the poster, the actor can be seen playing two distinct characters.

The movie also marks Deol's Tamil debut. In the epic drama, he'splaying the role of the antagonist, Udhiran.

Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and others are also part of the movie's cast.

The period drama has been bankrolled by Studio Green in collaboration with UV Creations.

Suriya's Career Update:

The actor was last seen in the 2022 film Etharkkum Thunindhavan. Apart from Kanguva, he's also working on a film with Karthik Subbaraj.
