Looks like fans will have to wait a bit longer for 'Sacred Games' season 2. The Netflix show starring Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was earlier scheduled on air from June 28 onwards but now, media reports state that the second season will come out a few months later.

According to reports, both the stars are busy with work commitments and hence the shooting of season 2 hasn't gotten over yet. Saif is in London shooting for 'Jawani Janeman' while Nawaz is busy with the shooting of Bole Chudiyan, his brother's directorial venture.

Now, the release date for 'Sacred Games 2' has been pushed to August end by the streaming platform. Netflix reportedly did not want the release date of the second season to clash with another big ticket show on the platform.

The first season of the popular Netflix series, which also featured Radhika Apte, Surveen Chawla, Karan Wahi, Rajshree Deshpande and Kubbra Sait, was released on July 6, 2018, and got rave reviews from both viewers and critics alike.

It is said that the second season will have an array of stars including Kalki Koechlin, Ranveer Shorey, Sobhita Dhulipala and Harshita Gaur. Netflix had given a sneak peek into the second season with a teaser a few months back.
