
Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is a proud grandson! The actor recently revealed on a social media post that his grandfather braved Mumbai's scorching heat to cast his vote in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in India.
For those unaware, Ranveer and his wife and actress Deepika Padukone also reached polling booths on Monday to cast their votes. The actress is currently pregnant and the baby is due in September.
The actor shared a photo of his "rockstar nana" on Instagram and wrote, "93yrs old. 93°F outside. But he voted. He’s a voter! My Rockstar Nana (emojis) #EveryVoteCounts." Check it out below!
In the comment section, netizens were all praise for the actor's grandfather. Some even pointed out that Ranveer looks a lot like his grandfather. One user wrote, "I thought he was Ranveer lol." On the movie front, rumours are rife that Ranveer has backed out of Prashanth Varma's big-budget filmRakshasdue to creative differences. Speaking to Pinkvilla, a source revealed, "They have amicably parted ways due to creative differences. While he is hearing a lot of scripts, his focus is to invest more time in the family. He is secure with his line-up while continuing to read more to have exciting projects under his kitty."
He will also feature in Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. The Rohit Shetty film serves as a follow-up sequel to Singham Returns (2014).
