Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny made history with his Super Bowl Halftime performance, getting the crowd to groove to his beats. However, US President Donald Trump wasn't impressed, calling it "one of the worst ever" in the event's history. Trump slammed the performance, saying it was a "slap in the face" to the country.

Soon after Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX halftime performance at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, Trump was quick to slam it. Posting a long note on Truth Social, he called Bunny's history-making performance, ''terrible''.

"The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence (sic)." He further criticised.

Puerto Rican artist has faced a huge backlash since he was announced as the Super Bowl performer last year, with Trump calling it “absolutely ridiculous.”

Trump continued, "Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World."

The Grammy-winningartist had represented his Puerto Rican culture to the world's biggest football stage at Levi Stadium as he sang in Spanish. His show was made even more entertaining by special appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.

Concluded his complaint post about the performance, he wrote, "And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule."

This is not the first time that Trump has criticised the decision to choose Bunny.

During his appearance on NewsMax’s Greg Kelly Reports in October, he said, "I've never heard of him (Bad Bunny). I don't know who he is.''

Bad Bunny's performance was a tribute to his culture. He delivered a halftime show that subtly included political messages. Throughout the performance, Bunny carried a football inscribed with the phrase “Together We Are America.”

He ended his performance by naming countries across the Americas with the stadium screen displayed, “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
