Professor Michael Snyder, a geneticist and director of the Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine at Stanford University and senior author of the study said, “We’re not just changing gradually over time. There are some theatrical changes.”&nbsp;

“It turns out the mid-40s is a time of dramatic change, as is the early 60s – and that’s true no matter what class of molecules you look at,” he added.&nbsp;

Scientists tracked 108 volunteers, who were asked to submit blood and other samples, including skin, oral, and nasal swabs, every few months for almost seven years.

Researchers found that the molecules and microbes did not change gradually and the most distinguished shift was observed when the participants were in their mid-40s and early 60s.

A former postdoctoral scholar at Stanford Medical School and first author of the study who is now based at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Dr Xiaotao Shen, said, “This suggests that while menopause or perimenopause may contribute to the changes observed in women in their mid-40s, other, more significant factors are likely influencing these changes in both men and women”.

According to the study, the first change occurs in the molecules linked to cardiovascular disease and caffeine and alcohol metabolism. &nbsp;

The SP Singla construction company has been given the contract to build the Aguwani-Sultanganj bridge, which has sunk for the third time. A total of Rs. 1717 crore has been spent&nbsp;on the construction of the bridge, which has been in the works&nbsp;for nine&nbsp;years.&nbsp;

“I must tell one thing, the entire structure of the under-construction bridge, which is faulty, is supposed to be dismantled by the contractor. The construction work has already stopped there. The contractor is dismantling the structure at the direction of the Patna High Court," Pandey&nbsp;said.&nbsp;

The project aimed to connect the Bhagalpur and Khagaria districts. However, the bridge collapsed for the third time raising safety concerns. The incident has also reportedly prompted calls for a proper analysis of the construction process.&nbsp;

The collapse took place amid the ongoing floods in the river Ganga which had caused a pause in the construction work.&nbsp;

The construction work for the bridge began in 2014 and it has failed to meet its deadline eight times. The recurrent failures of the bridge have also raised calls for an investigation to find out the root cause of the collapses.&nbsp;

Following the collapse, Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Jitan Ram Manjhi said, "An investigation should be conducted to identify where the lapses occurred that have led to not just one, but several bridge collapses. Those responsible must be held accountable. Why are so many bridges collapsing this year? Could there be a political conspiracy behind it?"

This bridge was envisioned as a major infrastructural project by Bihar&nbsp;Chief Minister Nitish Kumar but has repeatedly collapsed and been&nbsp;under construction for a long time.

Last month, a complaint was filed with Lokayukta police, naming Siddaramaiah, his wife, son S Yathindra, and senior MUDA officials. The complaint stated that the allotment of 14 alternative sites to the CM's wife Parvathi, in an upscale area of Mysore was illegal and caused a loss of Rs 45 crores ($53,65,080).&nbsp;

Activist Snehamayi Krishna also accused Siddaramaiah, his wife, and MUDA officials, of involvement in the land scam. The CM has since claimed that the land was gifted to his wife by her brother Mallikarjun in 1998.

However, according to Krishna, Mallikarjun procured the land illegally in 2004 by submitting the forged documents with the help of government officials.&nbsp;

The governor sanctioned the prosecution of CM Siddaramaiah in the alleged land scam, based on the petitions filed by the activists.&nbsp;

The supermoon occurring on October 17&nbsp;will be the closest one, also known as Hunter’s Moon.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, full supermoons are the brightest and the biggest full moons of the year. They are 30 per cent brighter and 14 per cent larger than the usual moon. However, the difference cannot be spotted with unaided human eyes, unless you are a regular Moon observer.

According to Time and Date, the second type of blue moon arose from a misunderstanding of the original definition. The second type refers to the second full moon in a calendar month. This monthly blue moon definition is accepted as an alternative rather than a mistake. The second full moon of a month with two full moons came to be known as a blue moon in the 1940s.&nbsp;

During a recent press conference, it was revealed that NASA is grappling with an unforeseen situation, which has led astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry&nbsp;Wilmore to get stuck on the International Space Station (ISS) as they wait for their return to Earth. What was supposed to be a short mission of two months has now been extended till at least February 2025.

NASA astronauts Williams and Wilmore took off aboard Boeing's Starliner on June 5 and reached their destination, the ISS, on June 6.

According to the schedule, they were supposed to return around mid-June. However, plans had to be adjusted after various issues, including the propulsion system, helium leaks, and thruster malfunction were detected in the Starliner’s capsule.&nbsp;

Ken Bowersox, associate administrator of NASA’s Space Operations Mission Directorate, said “We’re reaching a point where that last week in August we really should be making a call, if not sooner.”

This comes as the Starliner’s crew and authorities are focused on the safe return of the two astronauts to Earth. They are said to be trying their best to bring Williams and Wilmore back on Starliner. However, the option of using the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft for the return mission is also being considered, just to be on the safe side.

Joel Montalbano, deputy associate administrator of NASA’s Space Operations Mission Directorate, said astronauts prepare for every possibility before their human spaceflight.&nbsp;

He said, “Butch [Barry Wilmore] and Suni [Sunita Williams] said ahead of their launch that they know this mission might not be perfect. Human spaceflights are inherently risky, and as astronauts, we accept that.”&nbsp;

Montalbano said that if both astronauts did not return on Starliner, they would have to spend almost eight months in orbit. “They will have about eight months in orbit. If the two astronauts come on the SpaceX craft, they will return to Earth by February 2025,” he added.

Recently, NASA has conveyed that Starliner would not be used for the astronauts’ return.&nbsp;

However, SpaceX can be the possible choice for NASA’s Crew-9 mission to the ISS, which is scheduled for September 24. This will enable the two astronauts to return home by 2025.

In case&nbsp;of an emergency, there is a possibility that the two astronauts could be unsuited, said Montalbano.

When asked if the Starliner would be uncrewed or if any special equipment had been allotted for them, NASA said, “From a suits standpoint, they are not interchangeable. You can’t have a Boeing suit in SpaceX or a SpaceX suit in a Boeing vehicle, so that would not be the plan. If the Starliner undocks and only the Dragon is available, they might have to return unsuited on the Dragon.”&nbsp;

The extra SpaceX flight suits will be sent through the Crew-9 team, Montalbano said.&nbsp;

The actor-turned-lawmaker then said that according to some husbands, their wives are to serve them to which the human rights lawyer responded&nbsp;that it is "not the wife's obligation to serve her husband".&nbsp;
