The Hollywood movie-like theft was valued at US$15 million. The authorities have issued three more warrants and called the theft an inside job. So far, very little of the gold has been recovered.&nbsp;

It was the largest-ever gold heist in the nation's history. Police started to look for the thieves after a shipment of 6,600 gold bars from a refinery in Switzerland and C$2.7m in cash were stolen from a cargo facility at Toronto's Pearson international airport last year on April 17.&nbsp;

While speaking to the reporters in Brampton, Peel Regional Police chief Nishan Duraiappah, said that the theft was "carefully planned by a well-organised group of criminals."&nbsp;

The Peel Regional Police also said that their joint probe with the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has led to multiple arrests and 19 charges. They have also intercepted a "large quantity of firearms" intended for import into Canada.

"This story is a sensational one, and one which probably, we jokingly say, belongs in a Netflix series," Duraiappah said.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, lead investigator Det.-Sgt. Mike Mavity said that two men who worked for the airline were instrumental in pulling it off.&nbsp;

As mentioned by local reports, Parmpal Sidhu, a 54-year-old man from Brampton, Ont., was one of the employees. He worked in the warehouse. He was arrested and charged. On the other hand, police are searching for Simran Preet Panesar (31) who is also from Brampton.&nbsp;

"They needed people inside Air Canada to facilitate this theft," Mavity said.&nbsp;

Georgia's parliament on Wednesday approved the first reading of a bill on "foreign agents" that the European Union said risked stifling freedoms and blocking the country's path to membership.

The fate of the bill is widely seen as a test of whether Georgia, 33 years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, intends to pursue a path of integration with the West or move closer towards Russia.

Eighty-three of 150 deputies voted in favour while opposition MPs boycotted the vote. The bill, which has provoked days of protests, must pass two more readings before becoming law.

President Salome Zourabichvili, whose role is mostly ceremonial, said she would veto the law if it was passed. But parliament has the power to override her veto.

Several hundred opponents of the bill gathered outside parliament on Wednesday. Riot police used pepper spray on Tuesday to clear the area of thousands of protesters who shouted slogans against what they call "the Russian law". Eleven people were arrested and one police officer was injured.

In a rowdy session of parliament, four opposition lawmakers were removed from the chamber amid shouts of "No to the Russian law" and "Traitors".

Russia is widely disliked in the South Caucasus country of 3.7 million people, which in 2008 lost a brief war with Moscow over the Moscow-backed breakaway territory of South Ossetia.

Russia said on Wednesday it had nothing to do with the law, which it defended as a "normal practice". Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it was being used by outside actors to stoke anti-Russian sentiment.

Speaking to the news agency Associated Press on Thursday (Apr 18), experts said that with cloud seeding, it may rain, but it doesn’t really pour or flood. "It’s most certainly not cloud seeding. If that occurred with cloud seeding, they’d have water all the time. You can’t create rain out of thin air per se and get six inches of water. That’s akin to perpetual motion technology," said Ryan Maue, a private meteorologist. In the security camera footage, Nunes was seen standing next to the deceased who was in a wheelchair and seemingly trying to hold his drooping head up repeatedly.&nbsp;

In the disturbing footage first aired on Brazil’s largest broadcaster, Nunes was seen referring to the corpse as her “uncle",&nbsp;and asking him to sign financial documents that would allow her to take out the loan.&nbsp;

“Uncle, are you listening? You need to sign. If you don’t sign, there’s no way, because I can’t sign for you,” she can be heard saying in the security footage, asking him to sign the documents.&nbsp;

She added, “Sign so you don’t give me any more headaches, I can’t take it anymore.” When an employee tries to point out that he does not look well, Nunes quickly dismisses it.&nbsp;

“He doesn’t say anything, that’s just how he is,” she said, adding, “If you’re not okay, I’m going to take you to the hospital.”

However, the bank staff did not buy her story as they were already suspicious and called the police who arrested Nunes on the spot. Meanwhile, the corpse was reportedly taken to a morgue.&nbsp;

“She knew he was dead” police chief and investigating officer Fábio Luiz Souza told breakfast news programme Bom Dia Brasil on Wednesday, as quoted by the Guardian. He added that he had never come across such a story in his 22 years of being a cop.

“She tried to pretend to get him to sign the loan. He already entered the bank dead,” said Souza, as quoted by the New York Post, adding that the important thing to do right now is to investigate the other family members and find out more about this loan.&nbsp;

The police are also investigating if Nunes is actually his niece or not.&nbsp;

During the testing, the lab analysed the product and its packaging. The result revealed that the company added sugar in the form of sucrose or honey in samples of Nido, which is a follow-up milk formula brand intended for use for infants aged one and above. Such ingredients were also present in Cerelac, which is a cereal aimed at children aged between six months and two years.&nbsp;

The sanctions target "16 individuals and two entities enabling Iran’s UAV production, including engine types that power Iran’s Shahed variant UAVs, which were used in the April 13 attack."
