Despite claims to the contrary, McAtee and Project Veritas showed an email from Pfizer's senior director Vanessa Gelman downplaying the issue of aborted fetal cells in vaccines.

According to reports, Gelman wrote, "Not to mention the fetal cell lines" and "We should steer clear of the topic."

McAtee has voiced concerns regarding the components of vaccines and their possible connections with injuries and deaths.

McAtee assured viewers in the video that she is not suicidal and has a wonderful family life. "Hi to all of you. My name is Melissa McAtee, also known as Melissa Strickler. I am the Pfizer whistleblower that was in manufacturing quality for about five years at Pfizer, but employed total for about ten years," she said.

"I just wanted to put a video of my face out there with my voice stating I am not suicidal. Me and my husband have a happy, healthy marriage. I love my son. I love my family," she added.

McAtee continued, "We have no family little disputes. Nobody with mental health issues. I've had no work done on my home, no work done on my car. If anything happens to me, it is big pharma, big tech, big gov. Nothing is done by myself or my family, my husband, anybody that we know. Just wanted to put that out there. Thank you."

Some could write off McAtee's worries as paranoia, but others brought up other instances involving whistleblowers.

"I refuse to live in fear. But I also want the world to know what happened to me if anything were to," she wrote on X.

Scientists have reclassified the last remaining glacier of Venezuela as an ice field after it shrunk and is&nbsp;no longer&nbsp;a&nbsp;glacier. In the world's struggle against climate change, Venezuela has become the first nation to have lost all its glaciers in modern times.&nbsp;

The South American nation had six glaciers as recently as 1910. The glaciers covered a combined area of 1,000 square kilometres. However, amid the global heating, these glaciers have shrunk&nbsp;so much, that they do not match the criteria for being classified as glaciers.&nbsp;

All six glaciers were located in the Sierra Nevada de Mérida mountain range, out of which five disappeared by 2011. The Humboldt glacier was the only one left near the country's second-highest peak, Pico Humboldt. Now, it is also gone.&nbsp;

A report by news agency AFP mentioned that the government hopes to restore the glacier to its former glory using a geothermal blanket. But some think that it's too little, too late.&nbsp;

Several experts, including Centeno, are convinced that the loss of the Humboldt glacier, also known as La Corona, is irreversible. The glacier is some 4,900 metres above sea level.&nbsp;

It was projected that the Humboldt glacier would last at least another decade, but it melted much faster than expected. It is now in an area of less than two hectares.&nbsp;

As quoted by The Guardian, Maximiliano Herrera, a climatologist and weather historian, said, "Other countries lost their glaciers several decades ago after the end of the little ice age but Venezuela is arguably the first one to lose them in modern times."&nbsp;

Indonesia, Mexico and Slovenia will also lose their glacier cover, said Herrera.

More than a week of record-breaking rainfall has taken a toll over lives and lifelines in this part of Brazil with authorities scrambling to rescue affected individuals.&nbsp;

<h2>Brazil Floods: What's the current status?</h2>

Brazil's National Confederation of Municipalities said in an update on Wednesday (May 8) that overflowing rivers and floods in the state have affected around 1.45 million people and forced some 200,000 residents to flee their homes, Xinhua news agency reported.

Nearly 100,000 homes of all types have been affected based on data from the Civil Defence agency. These many homes have sustained either total or partial damage since the state's worst weather-related disaster hit on April 29, according to the confederation.

The state also borders Argentina and Uruguay. As many as 414 of 497 towns in the state, which is also a top agricultural and livestock producer, have suffered from the storms and therefore declared emergencies.

The confederation estimates the economic losses at 4.6 billion reals (about $904 million), after it took into account the damage to housing and public infrastructure, as well as agriculture, livestock, industry, commerce and services.

In just one week, Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul saw five months' worth of rain, causing unprecedented flooding.

"We understand the difficult financial situation faced by Rio Grande do Sul," he said at an event in Brasilia, adding he wanted to make sure the state would get "everything it is entitled to".

The Ukrainian military's chain of command has been changed at different levels since February when Zelenskiy replaced his top commander, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, with then-ground forces commander Oleksandr Syrskyi in a major shake up.

TikTok was one of the 20 tech companies that earlier this year signed an agreement vowing to combat the threat posed by artificial intelligence.

Other major tech firms like Alphabet Google's YouTube and Meta, which owns Instagram and Facebook, have said that they will begin using Content Credentials.

For this system to function properly, the maker of the generative AI tool, which has been used to make the content, and the platform where it has been shared, must comply with the industry norms.

TikTok already labels the content generated by AI tools inside the application, however, with this new move, it would also label the content produced via the help of artificial intelligence outside of the platform.

"We also have policies that prohibit realistic AI that is not labelled, so if realistic AI (generated contents) appears on the platform, then we will remove it as violating our community guidelines," Adam Presser, head of operations and trust and safety at TikTok, said in an interview.

<h2>TikTok, ByteDance challenge potential US ban in court</h2>

TikTok and its parent firm ByteDance on Tuesday (May 7) filed a legal challenge against the US targeting a bill signed by President Joe Biden that would push the app to either face a ban in the United States or to be sold.

The development came almost two weeks after Biden passed a law giving the popular short-form video hosting service an ultimatum of 270 days to find a non-Chinese buyer or face a ban in the country.

TikTok argues that the bill signed by the US president was unconstitutional.

"For the first time in history, Congress has enacted a law that subjects a single, named speech platform to a permanent, nationwide ban, and bars every American from participating in a unique online community with more than one billion people worldwide," said the suit by TikTok and ByteDance.

The lawsuit by the firm and the short-video sharing platform alleges that the move violates the First Amendment, charging that "Congress has made a law curtailing massive amounts of protected speech."

It further stated that the divestiture demanded for the short video app for it to be functional in the country is "simply not possible".

For this system to function properly, the maker of the generative AI tool, which has been used to make the content, and the platform where it has been shared, must comply with the industry norms. TikTok already labels the content generated by AI tools inside the application, however, with this new move, it would also label the content produced via the help of artificial intelligence outside of the platform. "We also have policies that prohibit realistic AI that is not labelled, so if realistic AI (generated contents) appears on the platform, then we will remove it as violating our community guidelines," Adam Presser, head of operations and trust and safety at TikTok, said in an interview. The move, which is seemingly aimed at delaying the case, comes a day after the judge in Trump’s Florida classified documents case indefinitely postponed the trial date.

The defendants in Georgia, including Trump, had sought to get Willis and her office off the election interference case saying that her romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade created a conflict of interest.&nbsp;

However, in March, Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee found that was not the case, but allowed the defendants to appeal his ruling.&nbsp;

In an email to the Associated Press, Trump’s lead attorney in Georgia, Steve Sadow said that the former president looks forward to presenting arguments as to why the case should be dismissed and Willis “should be disqualified for her misconduct in this unjustified, unwarranted political persecution.”

The allegations that Willis had improperly benefited from her relationship with Wade derailed the case against the former president and 18 others who have been accused of illegally trying to overturn the election result in Georgia, where Democrat and incumbent President Joe Biden&nbsp;won.&nbsp;

The delay in the Georgia case came after US District Judge Aileen Cannon in Florida, on Tuesday (May 7) indefinitely postponed Trump’s trial on the charges of illegally keeping classified documents after leaving office.&nbsp;

The rulings have reduced the odds that he will face a jury in either of the two federal criminal cases against him before the election. If he wins the presidency again Trump could direct the Justice Department to drop the federal charges or seek to pardon himself.

The classified documents case brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith was scheduled to go to trial on May 20, but the prosecution and defence agreed that the date would need to be pushed. Cannon scheduled pre-trial hearings to run through July 22, but not set a new date for the trial.&nbsp;

The former president has pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of retaining classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate after leaving office in 2021 and obstructing efforts by the US government to retrieve them.

He said, "The US is a massive state supplier of weapons to Israel. We do not have a UK government supply of weapons to Israel, we have a number of licences, and I think our defence exports to Israel are responsible for significantly less than one per cent of their total.

"That is a big difference," Cameron added.&nbsp;

Cyprus' foreign minister said that a shipment of humanitarian aid left a port in Cyprus on Thursday morning and was on its way to the US-built pier in Gaza. It was the first delivery to the newly built ramp.&nbsp;

The officials said that the US-flagged Sagamore left the port of Larnaca in the morning. US officials have said the vessel will be used to offload supplies onto a floating pier built to expedite aid into the besieged enclave.&nbsp;
