A shocking video of an altercation outside Kamala Harris’rally has gone viral, where a woman was seen screaming at a young girl. The video was captured at the Houston Metro station outside Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, where popstar Beyonce endorsed the vice president on Friday.
In the viral video, a Harris supporter in a light blue T-shirt bends down and yells in the face of a little girl sitting in a stroller. As the nearby people look at her in shock, a woman with a “Harris/Walz” sign in her hand pulls the woman away from the child. The girl's father takes her into his arms, away from her the agitated woman.
The kid’s father can be seen holding a microphone, suggesting he was likely addressing the crowd moments before this confrontation was captured on the camera. However, it is unclear what led to this heated moment outside the Harris rally. A nearby onlooker can be heard saying to the woman, “Are you not ashamed at all? Look at her face!”

The footage of the incident shared on X has gone viral on social media. The video has gained over 22 million views, more than 124k likes and 11k comments. People in the comments section could be seen reacting to the video, criticising the woman’s actions and guessing what could be the reason.
A user wrote, “No need to ever shout at children like that... EVER!”
Another user wondered, “Any idea what made her scream at the kid? Dad has a microphone in hand so he obviously said something that triggered her. Terrible thing to do, just curious.”
A third commented, ”This is not right on any level.”
X owner Elon Musk also criticised the actions of the woman, “Poor kid. That was messed up.”
