A sharp-shooter at the 2024 Olympics, which is being held in Paris, has gone viral for all new reasons.
The glasses of South Korea's sharp-shooter Kim Yeji have stolen the spotlight and gone viral leaving many intrigued by its stylish and novel look.
On Sunday (Jul28) Kim, who clinched a silver medal in the 10-meter air pistol event, went viral on social media because of the pair of custom shooting glasses she had donned during the competition.

A lot of people were left intrigued by the glasses' silver hardware. On the glasses' left side was a black eye cover and the lens was attached on the right side.

A user on X wrote, “She should be in movies."
“Ultimate bada," said another.
Some of the netizens also said that the playerresembled John Wick - a titular movie role played by Keanu Reeves. Reeves is famous for wearing tinted sunglasses in the movie.
A few netizens also“obsessed”over an old video of Kim which had resurfaced during the games and showed her achieving a new world record in the women’s 25-meter pistol game held at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan in May.

Interestingly, Kim was seen wearing a toy elephant on her uniform during the Olympics 2024 which, as per many reports, was her daughter's possession.
The South Korean shooter also set another record after performing strongly at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre in Paris.
She scored 241.3 points which surpassed the earlier women’sshooting10-meter air pistol Olympic record of 240.3 that wasset byVitalina Batsarashkinain2021 in Tokyo.

Kim’s 19-year-old teammate and roommate OhYe Jin also broke the record and won gold in Paris 2024.
Speaking about Oh, Kim said, “I do not view her as my rival. I always want to care for her and always be there for her. So when she won the gold medal, I was extra happy."
“This is a big stage, the Olympics, and we won the gold and silver. When we won these medals, we were so proud we are Koreans," she added. India's Manu Bhaker won bronze.
