Investigators had spoken with Abugharbeih on Thursday, but he ended the interview. Maurer said he resumed speaking with detectives after his arrest Friday. "We are still actively searching for Nahida," said Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Joseph Maurer, appealing to the public for any useful information.On X HCSO posted a video of its Office Marine and Dive teams searching near the Howard Frankland Bridge where Limon's remains were found. An autopsy is underway to determine the cause and manner of Limon's death, with results possibly available Saturday.

The two students had been missing since April 16. Limon, who was studying geography, environmental science and policy, was last seen at the off-campus apartment he shared with Abugharbeih. Bristy, a chemical engineering student who lived on campus, was last seen approximately an hour later at a campus science building. A family friend raised the alarm on April 17 after being unable to reach either of them. The couple had been considering marriage, a relative said.
