Toyota Kirloskar unveiled one of the most anticipated and much-awaited launches of the year, Yaris, at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018.&nbsp;

The launch of Yaris has catapulted the Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer to the B-High segment.&nbsp;

Some of the key features of Toyota&#39;s star sedan include power driver seat, 7 SRS airbags, roof mounted air vents, front parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, tyre pressure monitorings system, gesture control for the audio, among others.&nbsp;

The Yaris also comes studded with touchscreen navigation, faux leather seats, cruise control, stability control, auto projector headlamps, alloy wheels, shark-fin antenna, steering mounted controls, rear power outlets, rear camera, among others.

The Yaris comes with a 1.5-litre dual VVT-i petrol engine along with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed CVT auto -- and no diesel variant.

The Yaris will be manufactured at Toyota&#39;s plant near Bengaluru and will be open for booking starting April 2018.

The compact sedan will lock horns with others in the segment like Hyundai&#39;s Verna, Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
