Toyota Kirloskar unveiled one of the most anticipated and much-awaited launches of the year, Yaris, at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018.

The launch of Yaris has catapulted the Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer to the B-High segment.

Some of the key features of Toyota's star sedan include power driver seat, 7 SRS airbags, roof mounted air vents, front parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, tyre pressure monitorings system, gesture control for the audio, among others.

The Yaris also comes studded with touchscreen navigation, faux leather seats, cruise control, stability control, auto projector headlamps, alloy wheels, shark-fin antenna, steering mounted controls, rear power outlets, rear camera, among others.

The Yaris comes with a 1.5-litre dual VVT-i petrol engine along with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed CVT auto -- and no diesel variant.

The Yaris will be manufactured at Toyota's plant near Bengaluru and will be open for booking starting April 2018.
