<p>As per an ARY News report&nbsp;quoting local police,&nbsp;a landmine caused the blast. However, this is yet to be confirmed. The Bomb Disposal Unit is still&nbsp;investigating the nature of the explosion.</p>

<p>Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP), a home-grown terror group in Pakistan, has claimed responsibility for the attack.</p>

<h2><strong>The casualties</strong></h2>

<p>The Express Tribune reported&nbsp;that at least one FC official was killed in the blast. Among the 11 injured, seven are personnel from the Frontier Corps. Rescue 1122 officials confirmed that three civilians were among the injured.</p>

<p>Security and rescue forces have shifted the injured citizens to a nearby hospital for quick medical assistance. Initially, they were taken to Prime Hospital, and from there, they were later shifted to Lady Reading Hospital for further treatment.</p>

<p>A hospital spokesperson for the Lady Reading Hospital confirmed that four blast victims were given immediate medical aid and that they are out of danger.</p>

<p>Expressing grief over the tragic incident, Superintendent Warsak Division stated that the blast seemed to be an "IED explosion".</p>

<p>Following the attack, the area was cordoned off by security forces as emergency teams shifted the injured to nearby medical facilities.</p>
