Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Vinod Ghosalkar's son Abhishek was shot dead in Mumbai, India, during Facebook Live on Thursday (Feb 8).&nbsp;

In the video&nbsp;that was shared on social media and went viral, one can see&nbsp;Abhishek Ghosalkar&nbsp;being shot at by a person from his neighbourhood.

The attacker subsequently shot himself.&nbsp;

As per reports, the incident occurred in the north Mumbai suburb of Dahisar.

Abhishek was reportedly rushed to the nearby Karuna Hospital in Borivali, but died of gunshot wounds.&nbsp;

In the video, Abhishek can be&nbsp;seen sitting on a sofa and talking live on Facebook with some visitors about local works. When he stood up, one person (not seen in the video) took out a revolver and fired at least three rounds at him.&nbsp;

Abhishek, a former BMC Municipal Corporator from Dahisar,&nbsp;stumbled&nbsp;and fell down.&nbsp;

The alleged shooter&nbsp;identified as&nbsp;Morris Noronha also shot himself immediately after shooting&nbsp;Ghosalkar, according to reports.

So far, there's no official comment, but reports allege&nbsp;that a personal dispute could have been the reason behind the incident.&nbsp;

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut attacked the government and ponsted on post on X, "Gunda raj in Maharashtra. Mauris Noronha, who shot Abhishek Ghosalkar, was at Varsha was bungalow four days ago."&nbsp;

"The Chief Minister met him. Morrish was invited to join the Shinde Sena. Fadnavis is a complete failure as Home Minister. Resign!" he added.&nbsp;
