Gajendra Pachoriya, in-charge of Madhav Nagar police station, described the operation as a difficult one. He said that rescuers had to use a cutting machine to force open the metal chamber door. It took nearly 90 minutes before all four men were finally pulled free. He further added that Police on the scene attempted to revive them with CPR, but none of the four survived. The victims’ bodies have since been sent for post-mortem examination, and their families are now demanding strict action against the hotel owner.
