At least 15 people were injured&nbsp;in the mishap. It included three employees of the plaza. Four of the injured are in critical condition. All of the victims have been admitted to different hospitals in Songadh. &nbsp; &nbsp;

The incident was caught on CCTV cameras at the toll booth. The bus seems to have been carrying attendees of a wedding party. &nbsp;&nbsp;

According to the Songadh police, the bus was coming from Maharashtra. Around 40 people were travelling in the bus. At around 11 am, the driver was not able to control the vehicle and crashed it into the toll booth at high speed. &nbsp;&nbsp;

It went straight into the cabin, where a female cashier was sitting. A woman and a male employee, who were standing near the cabin, were also injured. &nbsp;&nbsp;

After the collision, the cabin of the toll booth was completely destroyed. The machines kept there were also damaged. After the mishap, there was also a long jam at the toll booth. &nbsp;&nbsp;

As the country stepped into the last week of lockdown 3.0 National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) claimed that FASTag will be a very beneficial tool post-lockdown.

FASTag&nbsp;is a technical tool that helps in collection of toll money on highways without human contact.

FASTag employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for making toll payments on national highways directly from the prepaid or savings account linked to it. A prepaid tag, fixed on vehicles' windscreen, allows automated deduction of toll charges, and lets any vehicle pass through a toll plaza with zero human contact.

The tool will help post-lockdown as it will limit the human contact, making sure the deadly coronavirus does not spread through toll booths.

"FASTag nullifies the chances of contracting Corona virus as there is no human contact between drivers and the toll booth workers unlike during cash transactions," NHAI said.

A total of 1.68 crore FASTags have been issued across the country till the beginning of May 2020.
