The "Cold Moon", which was the 12th and final full moon of 2024, rose in the evening skies on Sunday (Dec 15) in rare celestial occurance. The moon is also called the “Long Nights Moon” and the “Moon Before Yule” and makes an appearance after every 19 years.

The annual Draconid meteor shower has started to light up the night skies from October 6 and will remain visible till October 10. However, this year the meteor shower is expected to be fainter in comparison to the past years, as experts suggest that the 2025 meteor shower will be the strongest one to have ever occurred in history.
