<p>A terrorist was killed in an encounter with the security forces in Handwara, Jammu and Kashmir today (October 22) morning.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The security forces&nbsp;recovered a grenade, rifles and Pakistani currency notes after the&nbsp;operation which took place early morning after security forces launched a search operation in Langet, 100 kms from Srinagar.</p>

<p>The terrorist is suspected to be from the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET), police said, adding that&nbsp;two other&nbsp;terrorists who&nbsp;accompanied him managed to escape.</p>
