J&K: Terrorist killed in Handwara encounter, Pakistani currency recovered

A terrorist was killed in an encounter with the security forces in Handwara, Jammu and Kashmir today (October 22) morning.

The security forcesrecovered a grenade, rifles and Pakistani currency notes after theoperation which took place early morning after security forces launched a search operation in Langet, 100 kms from Srinagar.

The terrorist is suspected to be from the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET), police said, adding thattwo otherterrorists whoaccompanied him managed to escape.
