Seeman said the series portrayed the Tamil Eelam freedom struggle "cheaply, intending to tarnish Tamils image."<br />

It is condemnable that the web series has been made to sound like the voice of the Sinhala government which allegedly invaded, dominated and annihilated the homeland of the Tamils, he said.<br />

Such series, he said, should never be screened as it contains "obnoxious content against Tamil and supports pro- Sinhala ideologies or any other race."&nbsp;<br />

The show which has Manoj Bajpayee playing an Intelligence Officer, talks of the Lankan Tamils and their struggle. The antagonist in the series, Raji, played by Tamil star Samantha Akkineni, is shown to be trained fighter and part of the rebel group which have connections with the exiled leader of the movement.&nbsp;<br />

The show also features Tamil actress Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Seema Biswas and Sharad Kelkar.&nbsp;<br />

Samantha turns a year older on April 28 and while there will not be any elaborate celebration owing to the current situation, her husband made sure that she rang it in style.<br />

<p>We might just get a new film from the famous franchise <em>Sex And The City</em> as there’s news of Heidi Klum replacing Kim Cattrall to play the iconic role of Samantha in the movie.&nbsp;</p>

<p>There was news of the movie going on floors at the start of the year but it has been delayed due to an ongoing feud between Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall -- one that turned ugly on public space as the latter called out to the former on her social media profile.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Although Parker had insisted in the past that Cattrall is irreplaceable and suggested there is no feud, Cattrall has been vocal about being against the show makers and Parker. In an earlier report, she said, “I couldn't imagine anyone else playing that part. There was no fight it was completely fabricated, because I actually never responded. And I won't, because she needed to say what she needed to say, and that is her privilege.”</p>

<p>Cattrall responded with, “I want them to make the movie, if that's what they want to do. It's a great part. I played it past the finish line and then some and I loved it and another actress should play it. Or bring in another character. It can be another character. This is what I really believe that this franchise needs another point of view and this could be it.”<br />
