Kinder, the beloved kids chocolate brand has announced a major recall of its products over salmonella fears. More than 3,000 tonnes of Kinder products worth tens of millions of euros had to be withdrawn.

Kinder recalls 3,000 tonnes of chocolate over Salmonella fears

According to the World Health Organisation(WHO), Salmonella typhimurium has been found in chocolate products in Belgium. The UN health body said 151 genetically related cases were suspected to be linked to "implicated chocolate products" now found in eleven countries including the US.
