Economic conditions have improved, mortgage rates are decreasing, and taxes have been reduced. I believe these pressures are easing, and we can make further progress throughout the year."</p>

<p>The Conservative leader also pointed out what he said was his commitment to cutting taxes for hardworking individuals.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It's because those are my values, those are the values of my party. Hard work should be rewarded, and cutting taxes is the best way to ensure that individuals and their families can enjoy the fruits of their labour," he asserted.</p>
