Nepal President Ram Chandra Paudel has suffered a "heart attack" and underwent angioplasty on Tuesday after being admitted to Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre in Kathmandu, sources confirmed to ANI.

Senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Paudel was today sworn in as the President of Nepal. Acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki administered the oath to 78-year-old Mr Paudel at a special ceremony at Sheetal Niwas, the President's Office.
