Shivani in a statement to the police said that the doctors had asked her to give her blood samples.

“We have recorded the statement of the woman (49). She told us that the doctors of the hospital had told her to give her blood as sample instead of her son’s. On 19 May, the 17-year-old drunk boy killed two IT professionals after crashing his Porsche car in the Kalyani Nagar area of Pune when the duo was travelling on a motorbike. And now, it has been confirmed that Vishal Agarwal, the father of the accused teen, tried calling the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA more than 45 times. Some reports even hint at possible links between the MLA and Dr Ajay Taware.&nbsp;

He confirmed on May 20, a day after the accident, that he was present at the local police station till 6 am. Tingre later claimed he didn't try to put pressure on police but his party NCP has asked for an explanation.

As of now, Maharashtra Police are denying any connection between Sunil Tingre and Dr Ajay Taware.

Not just the doctors, but the role of the Juvenile Justice Board (JJ Board) members, who granted bail to the teen within 24 hours, is also under scanner. Pune car crash: Doctor who replaced teen’s blood samples sacked, two others to soon face action

In the latest development in the Pune Porsche hit and run case, two doctors have been arrested for allegedly manipulating&nbsp;the blood test report of the 17-year-old accused.

The Pune Crime Branch has arrested Dr Ajay Tawade and Dr Hari Harnor of Sasoon Hospital. Dr Tawade is head of the forensic lab at the state-run hospital in Pune.

Earlier, reports suggested that the Pune teenager, currently at an observation home, had tested negative for alcohol. However, CCTV footage from one of the bars he visited that night revealed him drinking with friends.

Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar earlier said, "This case does not revolve around an accident resulting from an alcohol-induced mistake where lives were lost. Our argument is that he was fully aware of his actions... attending parties at two bars, recklessly driving a car without a license plate on a narrow, crowded street. He was completely conscious of the potential fatal consequences of his behavior."

The teen belongs to a prominent realtor's family and it is alleged that his father and grandfather tried to influence the legal process to shield him.&nbsp;

The police arrested Surendra Agarwal from his residence at 3 am after registering a new case with the Pune crime branch. This is the third FIR which has been filed in the Pune Porsche crash case.

Agarwal was earlier questioned by the Pune crime branch to know more about his son and grandson, and what conversations they had on the day of the accident.&nbsp;

The parents of the two software engineers who died have demanded that the Supreme Court oversee the investigation and trial in the case. The families have also urged that the trial be conducted in Madhya Pradesh, where the victims were from, and not in Maharashtra.

Speaking to PTI, Ashwini's father, Suresh Kumar Koshta, said, "The Supreme Court should monitor the investigation and trial in the case to ensure that we get justice."

Media reports claimed that the teen's grandfather Surendra Kumar Agarwal is facing trial in a shootout case which is linked to underworld don Chhota Rajan, who is in prison.&nbsp;

On being asked about the same, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, "Whatever connection there is, complete investigation will be done. Action will be taken on everything."&nbsp;

In the wee hours of Sunday, the teen ran over two motorbike-borne, 24-year-old IT professionals Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Costa, in Kalyani Nagar, Pune with a Porsche car. The police claimed that he was driving under the influence of alcohol at that time. According to Pune Police officials, the Juvenile Justice Board remanded the minor accused to a Rehabilitation/Observation home till June 5. As per reports, he was allowed to eat pizza at the police station and take a nap, and his medical test was allegedly delayed.
