<p>The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Haryana police filed a chargesheet against Honeypreet Insan and 14 other accused in connection with the violence on&nbsp;August 25 in Panchkula and Sirsa after Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim was arrested.</p>

<p>The violence was followed after Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim was convicted and sentenced to 20 years for allegedly raping two female disciples.</p>

<p>Honeypreet who claims to be the&nbsp;&quot;adopted daughter&quot;&nbsp;of Dera chief has been&nbsp;charged with&nbsp;sedition, criminal conspiracy of the Indian Penal code (IPC), along with other eleven accused.&nbsp;</p>

<p>They are also been charged under Sections including 121 (waging, or attempting to wage war, or abetting waging of war, against the government) and 121-A (conspiracy to commit offences) of IPC</p>

<p>Rest of the three have been&nbsp;charged under section 216 of the IPC (Harbouring offender who has escaped from custody or whose apprehension has been ordered) for giving shelter to Honeypreet when she was on the run, Panchkula Police Commissioner A S Chawla said.</p>

<p>A lookout notice, and later an arrest warrant, was also issued by the Haryana Police against Honeypreet before she was arrested in October.</p>

<p>Honeypreet, whose real name is Priyanka Taneja is currently under judicial remand in the Ambala central jail since October 14 and was arrested by the Haryana police.</p>

<p>During Honeypreet&#39;s remand, the police had recovered a mobile phone, a laptop, credit cards and documents of properties and education certificates belonging to her.</p>

<p>According to reports, Honeypreet had travelled with the Dera chief in a helicopter during his airlift from Panchkula to Rohtak&#39;s Sunaria jail after his conviction in the rape case, later she went into hiding for 38 days before she was arrested on October 4 from the Zirakpur-Patiala highway.</p>

<p>According to the police, so far more than 150 FIRs with nearly 1,000 Dera followers as accused of attacking security forces and damaging public property have been registered.</p>

<p>Honeypreet Insan has said that she was devastated by the accusations that she had incited the violence that followed disgraced Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Singh&#39;s conviction.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Honeypreet was arrested by Haryana Police on Tuesday, who said they would produce her in court on Wednesday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;We have arrested Honeypreet and we&nbsp;will produce her in court tomorrow,&quot; the Panchkula police commissioner said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Police added that Honeypreet had &quot;not divulged much&quot;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Tuesday, Honeypreet told a television news channel that she was &quot;devasted&quot; by the allegations and that she had &quot;never killed an ant in her life&quot;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>PTI quoted her as saying:&nbsp;&quot;Have you heard me saying a word where I instigate people. Was I even present with the arsonists?&quot;</p>

<p>Honeypreet added that she had gone to the CBI court in Panchkula on August 25 hoping that her father would return by the evening but that after he was found guilty, she went into depression. She said she was totally devastated and could therefore not think about anything else.</p>

<p>She added that her &quot;Papa&quot; is innocent and that his conviction in the two rape cases had left her &quot;depressed&quot;.</p>

<p>Honeypreet said she was there at the court the day Gurmeet Singh was convicted&nbsp;-- and the violence broke out -- because&nbsp;she was doing her&nbsp;&quot;duty as a daughter&quot;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On being asked about her whereabouts since August 25, Honeypreet said she had left Rohtak and gone to Delhi as she was &quot;trying to accept Ram Rahim&#39;s sentence&quot; and not run from the law.</p>

<p>PTI reported that she now planned on&nbsp;&quot;going to Punjab and Haryana court&quot;&nbsp;since she has &quot;full faith in the judiciary&quot;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>She also dismissed her ex-husband&#39;s allegations, saying: &quot;I cannot understand how anyone can point fingers at pious relations that are there between a father and his daughter. What proof have these people got to level such allegations? All those who are spreading such rumours, please do not believe them.&quot;</p>
