<p>Army chief General Bipin Rawat has said Kashmir is being radicalised, and that the Army is addressing it.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He blamed social media for the problem.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;J&amp;K government, police and administration are concerned; trying to ensure people are weaned away,&quot; ANI reported Rawat as saying.</p>

<p>&quot;Happening due to social media,&quot; Rawat said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He added however that the situation in Kashmir is improving, saying &quot;what is happening&quot; only shows the &quot;frustration of terrorists&quot;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>There have been a number of militants gunned down in Kashmir in recent months.&nbsp;</p>

<p>At the same time, the number of attacks on security forces, infiltration attempts across the border, and the number of casualties amongst the security forces have also gone up.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As have reports of locals pelting stones at security forces as they take on militants.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rawat was speaking in Jammu, where he presented the President&#39;s Standard to the 47 Armoured Regiment.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rawat said the Army was following the government&#39;s approach in Kashmir and that the NIA raids were a part of that.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;Whatever success it (the NIA raids) achieved will emerge in future,&quot; Rawat added.&nbsp;</p>
