"In a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves," the rapper and fashion mogul, who is now known as Ye, said in Parler's statement.

The value of the deal, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2022, was not disclosed.&nbsp;

Earlier in October, Instagram and Twitter restricted West's accounts over posts slammed as anti-Semitic.

George Farmer, Parler's executive director, said the deal will "change the way the world thinks about free speech."

"Ye is making a groundbreaking move into the free speech media space and will never have to fear being removed from social media again," he said.

Launched in 2018, Parler became a haven for supporters of former US president Donald Trump and far-right users who say they have been censored by other social media platforms such as Twitter.

But Parler was pulled from the Apple and Google online marketplaces and effectively shut down when Amazon Web Services cut ties over allegations the platform failed to stop incitement of violence ahead of the January 6, 2021, siege of the US Capitol.

Last month, Google allowed Parler back into its Play Store, more than a year after banning the platform.

Apple Inc and&nbsp;Amazon.com Inc have suspended Parler from their respective App Store and web hosting service&nbsp;for allowing "threats of violence," after the deadly attack on the US Capitol by supporters of President Donald Trump.

"Parler has not taken adequate measures to address the proliferation of these threats to people's safety. We have suspended Parler from the App Store until they resolve these issues," the iPhone maker said in a statement Saturday.

Apple&nbsp;had given the service 24 hours to submit a detailed moderation plan, pointing to participants' using the service to coordinate Wednesday's siege of the US&nbsp;Capitol.

Parler Chief Executive John Matze said&nbsp;Apple&nbsp;was banning the service until it gives up free speech and institutes "broad and invasive policies like Twitter and Facebook."

"They claim it is due to violence on the platform. The community disagrees as we hit number 1 on their store today," Matze said in a post on Parler.

Amazon&nbsp;has suspended Parler from its&nbsp;Amazon&nbsp;Web Services (AWS) unit, for violating AWS's terms of services by failing to effectively deal with a steady increase in violent content on the social networking service&nbsp;late on Saturday.

The Parler social network has become a haven for conservatives who say they have been censored by other social media platforms.
