<p>Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi visited the NTPC plant in Rae Bareli today after a&nbsp;<a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/ntpc-boiler-explosion-it-started-shaking-then-there-was-a-blast-recalls-worker-23351" target="_blank">boiler had exploded in the plant </a>yesterday killing 26 people and leaving several injured.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rahul&nbsp;met Union power minister RK Singh at the spot.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Congress vice-president expressed his condolences over the deaths and tweeted that he was very upset on seeing the plight of the victims.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He hoped for better compensation and a government job for kins of the deceased.</p>
