<p>Now, just months into being ousted from India, <strong>PUBG Mobile</strong> is making a return with a <strong>new name: Battlegrounds Mobile.</strong> <strong>The popular battle royale game'</strong>s regional version is set to launch in the third week of June. <p>While fans in India await the debut of Battlegrounds Moobile India, game makers Krafton have been releasing facts about the game at regular intervals.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Pre-registration&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>Pre-registration for the next incarnation of the game just surpassed the 20 million mark. Krafton issued a press release on their official website to acknowledge the overwhelming response from the Indian gamers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>CH Kim, CEO of Krafton, thanked the Indian fans for their overwhelming support, saying, “We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our Indian fans for their overwhelming response to the BATTLEGROUNDS IP, first developed by me and my team in 2017. <strong>The BATTLEGROUNDS</strong> IP received love and acclaim from players worldwide, and KRAFTON will continue to build on the IP. Developed by KRAFTON, the pre-registration for the game went live on the Google Play Store for fans in India on the 18th of May. It received 7.6 million pre-registrations on its opening day, crossing 20 million pre-registrations in two weeks.” Krafton posted on its official website.</p>
