A bus carrying 40 passengers plunged into Nepal's Marsyangdi River in Tanahun district on Friday (Aug 23), killing 14 Indians and injuring 17 others who were onboard the bus.

At least 13 people were killed and dozens of others sustained injuries following a bus accident in Sindhupalchowk district on Sunday, reported news agency ANI. The accident occured in the morning when the bus skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge along the Dolakha Khadichaur-Jiri road section.
