The first Catholic mass has been celebrated at St. Sebastian’s Church in the Sri Lankan city of Negombo following the Easter Sunday suicide bombings that killed more than 100 people at the church and 250 people overall across the country.

Funeral prayers were held at St. Sebastian's Church in Negombo on Tuesday ahead of a mass burial for the victims of Easter Sunday bombings. Mourners and relatives of the victims brought flowers to the funeral service and prayed with the clergy as coffins were being carried in and out of the church.
