<p>A three-year-old golden tiger living in a zoo in Thailand has emerged as the newest sensation after it made its debut on the social media platform on November 19. The tiger is now rivalling the baby pygmy hippo, Moo Deng.</p>

<p>The photos of the golden baby tiger Ava were shared by the Chiang Mai Night Safari in northern Thailand on its Facebook page and received more than 34,000 likes and 24,000 shares in just two days.</p>

<p>Ava made her debut three weeks after her sister Luna, although the birth date of the two is the same which is February 16, 2021.</p>

<p>In July 2015, the parents of the tiger were brought to the safari park from South Africa and the Czech Republic.</p>

<p>Named Moo Deng, which translates to “bouncy pork”, she became an instant hit after her clips went viral on TikTok. People are swooning over the cute little thing who has two siblings, Moo Tun, meaning "stewed pork", and Moo Wan, meaning "sweet pork".&nbsp;</p>

<p>People voted to choose her name after she was unveiled at the zoo on July 25.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The baby hippo has garnered popularity not only in Thailand but also in other countries. The zookeeper told The Guardian the moment Moo-Deng was born, he vowed to make her famous. &nbsp;"I never expected it would spread abroad. I thought she could be famous in Thailand but not internationally,” zookeeper Atthapon Nundee told The Guardian.</p>
