A video has been released by Taronga zoo which shows five lions scratching and breaking the fence around them and finally escaping the enclosure. In the video, the five lions, which include an adult male and four cubs, are clawing at the fence and then squeezing underneath it to escape the enclosure and wander outside their zoo.

It was quite a hectic Wednesday morning for the workers and staff at the Sydney Taronga zoo as five lions managed to escape their enclosures at about 6 AM local time. Four lions made their way back to the zoo four hours later and the fifth cub was tranquilised and was bought back at 9 AM.
