As soon as it took off from the airport, the Istanbul-bound plane was hit by a bird. The pilot managed to turn the plane around&nbsp;and landed it safely at the airport. &nbsp;

The airline company has accepted the request of the passengers and made arrangements for their stay in a hotel. &nbsp;&nbsp;

The company has also promised passengers that it will arrange another flight for Istanbul. It also refunded the cost of the PCR tests to the customers. &nbsp;&nbsp;

At least two people were killed when a gunman opened fire at the international airport in Lahore on Wednesday, reported news agency ANI. 
 
The incident occurred around 10 am (local time) when the victims were returning from Saudi Arabia after performing Umrah.

Security was beefed up at the airport following the incident while entry and exit points have been closed. Police said that the incident took place due to personal enmity.

The gunman has been nabbed by the authorities.
