<p>The film directed by debutant Raj Mehta began shooting on November 29 with Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. The film’s other lead pair Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan are expected to join the crew in Chandigarh after Akshay finishes promoting ‘2.0’ in Mumbai.</p>

<p>Akshay and Karan just finished work together as incidentally, Karan Johar is a co-producer of‘2.0’. Speaking on the same, Akshay said, “From having coffee with Karan, I am now having breakfast, lunch and dinner with him.”</p>

<p>‘Good News’ tells the story of two couples played by Akshay Kumar –Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh – Kiara Advani who are trying to have a baby.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The “dramedy” as Karan Johar calls it, is slated to release on July 19, 2019.</p>

<p>Karan Johar was caught in a cross of words after he posted a video from his latest episode of a talent show, in which he was accused of hurting the sentiments of the people of Assam.&nbsp;<br />

What would look a funny banter between co-judges Karan Johar and Kirron Kher, who judge the reality show together along with Malaika Arora Khan (who was absent from the last episode), turned ugly after a user took to Twitter to call out the disrespect to their culture.&nbsp;<br />

In the video, Karan can be seen laughing at Kirron for wearing a spiked bamboo hat. Karan teased her for it and said, "oh my god, what is that on your head?" to which, Kher replied, "People from Arunachal Pradesh have brought it for me and they have got this for you. Why are you not wearing your hat.” This went a tad further when Karan replied, "Because you have guts, I don't."<br />

Karan went on and said, "You are looking you are going to break into some kind of qawwali." Following which, Kirron Kher said, "How can I break into a qawwali in a bamboo hat. What's wrong with you? You don't know the states of this country."<br />

Soon after the video was posted on Instagram and Twitter, a user pointed out that the hat has cultural significance and wrote: “Dear @karanjohar the Japi and Gamusa are signs of respect and love. When someone gifts you one, you don't make fun of it, even if it does not go with fashion. Your video hurt the emotions of #Assamese people. Just informing, in case you didn't know it already.”</p>

The filmmaker, who for the first time addressed the curiosity around his sexuality in his biography <em>An Unsuitable Boy</em>, on Saturday said the book was his final answer to the world and he will not get into any further details.<br />
